Linda studied Drawing and Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee followed by an MA Conservation of Paintings, University of Northumbria. She currently works in mixed media, painting, drawing, photography, video, installation, photogravure and lithography.
She has exhibited widely in the UK, Europe and Malaysia. In 2011 she was a finalist in the International Photography Open Salon, Arles, France.In 2012 she won the the Pauline Fay Lazarus prize for her work based on the human body and in 2010 and 2012, she received Visual Arts Awards from Fife Council. She has also worked with scientists from Edinburgh University and was artist in residence at the Scottish Arts Club in 2013.
In recent years she has explored the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of the human body. Her current work explores identity and place and involves an exploration of landscape traditions across different cultures and the symbolism of cultural objects.
